Zim A to take on the UAE

The Zim A are set to take on the UAE in a 5 unofficial one day matches in Dubai.

The team arrived yesterday in Dubai and will be captained by Chamu Chibhabha under the guidance of former Zimbabwe seamer  Douglas Hondo. Zimbabwe is using this two week tour to give the second tier side much needed exposure and will be good for the younger guys to see how international cricket feels like as well the intensity of the game at a higher level. Surprisingly after a lot of noise on social media about the inclusion of Foster Mutizwa it seemed to have fallen on deaf ears as he still did not get the nod and surprising exclusion from the side is all rounder Donald Tiripano. Zimbabwe needs to play more cricket at  higher level so we can keep improving.

Tendai Chisoro and Peter Moor are part of the touring side. The dual was part of the test squad that played against West Indies in the just ended Two Test match series.

Zim A Squad
